Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick-up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Top of the Falls
Upon arrival or after breakfast, our professional driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park.
Enjoy a scenic journey with a lunch stopover en route.
Before reaching the lodge, visit the Top of Murchison Falls — the world’s most powerful waterfall — for breathtaking views.
Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park.
Look out for wildlife including lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birds.
Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, set off on a boat cruise along the Nile River, getting close views of hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world.
Enjoy beautiful scenery along the way — including tea plantations, rolling hills, banana plantations, sugarcane, and coffee farms.
Have lunch en route.
Upon arrival, check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking Experience and Community Walk
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about Kibale Forest and your chimpanzee tracking adventure.
Carry packed lunchboxes, drinking water, hand gloves, and face masks as you search for chimps in their natural habitat.
After the tracking experience, engage in a community walk to learn about local culture and traditions.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Upon arrival, check in at the lodge, enjoy lunch, and prepare for an afternoon game drive.
Look out for Uganda kob, elephants, lions, and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, embark on another morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park for more wildlife viewing.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer Back to Kigali with City Tour
After breakfast, our driver-guide will transfer you back to Kigali, crossing the Uganda-Rwanda border.
Upon arrival, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to reflect on Rwanda’s history and resilience.
Also, enjoy a shopping experience at a local market for authentic Made-in-Rwanda souvenirs.
After the city tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Kigali International Airport for departure.
